SUP Dog: Paddleboard Yoga

Paddleboard yoga: quiet the mind and tone the body amidst the natural beauty of the water.

Led by Jessica Bellofatto of KamaDeva Yoga, these classes combine traditional yoga postures with the added component of floating on a stand up paddleboard in flat water.

A short yoga sequence on land, SUP paddleboard instruction (if need be), and then we'll paddle off for a "Walking on Water" adventure. We'll move to a quieter location, and then be led through an thoughtfully designed sequence of postures targeting the legs, butt, abs, back, and arms. Using the tools of breath, gaze, bandhas, concentration and meditation, this class quiets the mind and moves us into greater alignment with ourselves and the natural beauty that surrounds us out on the water. Truly a memorable experience, as well as an amazing physical workout.

Please bring sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, towel, and dress as you would for a regular yoga class, or in a bathing suit.  Keep in mind that you MAY get wet!  No need for a yoga mat -- the paddleboard is our mat!

These classes are suitable for all levels of student, and stand up paddle instruction is included. All gear is provided. In the case of inclement weather, a class credit (but not refund) will be provided. 

Costs:

$65 for individual classes, $35 if you bring your own board or purchase a class card:

5 Class Card: $300 / $150 BYOB
10 Class Card: $600 / $300 BYOB
